kamal nath chhindwara union ministerHonorable Kamal Nath, A Leading Figure in Chhindwara India, is a Kanpur born social and political leader who represents the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh in the Loksabha India. He is currently serving as Union Urban Development minister of UPA government & active member of Indian National Congress (INC). He is widely regarded as architect of modern Chhindwara who has been playing an important role in Chhindwara’s development since 1980. He is an individual with strong principles, ethics and great intellectual ability, who is truly dedicated for the prosperous Chhindwara.  Kamal Nath was seen as Indira Gandhi’s third son. People used to say, “Indira Gandhi ke do haath, Sanjay Gandhi, Kamal Nath”.

Early Life & Education: Honorable Kamal Nath was born to Late Shri Mahendra Nath & Smt. Leela Nath on 18th November 1946 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He is an alumnus of The Doon School. Sanjay Gandhi was the best friend of Kamal Nath. He completed his graduation in B.Com. Stream from St. Xavier’s College of the University of Calcutta,West Bengal in 1968. Shri Kamal Nath was married to Smt. Alka Nath on 27th Jan 1973. Nakul Nath and Bakul Nath are the 2 sons of Shri Kamal Nath while Smt. Simran Nath is the Daughter in law.
